Duos ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our mobile game.

Information We Collect

Automatically Collected Information

When you play Duos, we automatically collect certain information:

• Game Analytics: Gameplay statistics including scores, combo counts, game duration, game mode played, and in-game events
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version
• Anonymous User ID: A randomly generated identifier used to prevent leaderboard cheating and track gameplay sessions
• Usage Data: App opens, session duration, and feature usage

Information You Provide

• Game Center Data: If you choose to connect to Game Center, your Game Center username and leaderboard scores are shared with Apple's Game Center service
• Leaderboard Submissions: High scores you achieve may be submitted to our global leaderboard (stored anonymously)

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Operate and improve the game experience
• Maintain global leaderboards and prevent cheating
• Analyze game performance and user engagement
• Show relevant advertisements
• Fix bugs and optimize game performance
• Understand which features are most popular

Firebase (Google)

Game Center (Apple)

If you sign in to Game Center, your leaderboard scores and achievements are managed by Apple's Game Center service. Apple Privacy Policy

Data Storage and Security

• Game data is stored locally on your device and in Google Firebase cloud services
• We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data
• Your anonymous user ID cannot be linked to your real identity by us
• No personally identifiable information (name, email, phone number) is collected

Children's Privacy

Duos does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The game is designed to be enjoyed by all ages and does not require account creation or personal information.

Advertising and Tracking

• We show ads through Google AdMob
• You may see rewarded video ads that grant in-game benefits (extra lives)
• On iOS 14.5+, we will request permission for ad tracking via Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework
• You can disable personalized ads in your device settings (Settings > Privacy > Tracking)

Your Choices

You can:

• Delete Local Data: Uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data
• Opt Out of Game Center: Sign out of Game Center in iOS Settings
• Limit Ad Tracking: Disable personalized ads in iOS Settings > Privacy > Tracking

Data Retention

• Local game data (high scores, settings) is stored until you uninstall the app
• Analytics data is retained according to Firebase's data retention policies (default: 14 months)
• Leaderboard data is retained indefinitely to maintain competitive integrity

International Users

Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where Firebase and Google operate servers.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
